Mexico Study Abroad

Join a 2-week program and learn about special education services in Mexico. You will have hands-on experiences working with children with disabilities, learn about public education in Mexico, and learn about Mexican culture. In addition, you will participate in a Spanish language immersion experience geared toward educators. No Spanish language is required to participate in this program, although it would be highly useful.  See the USU Study Abroad website for more details.

Included in the cost is tuition, housing, all excursions in Chacala, and all meals in Puerto Vallarta.  This is estimated to be $1800, but may vary.  In addition to the $1800 trip fee you will be responsible for airfare (estimated around $600 to $700) and meals in Chacala (estimated around $50 to $75).

This video was created by a student who went on the 2012 trip, highlighting some of her experiences.
